What is Body Kinetix?
Body Kinetix is a program in which the focus is weight loss and functional fitness. There are many programs out there that are similar to Body Kinetix. However, Body Kinetix stands above the rest. Why? The program design is based on cutting-edge clinical research methods as well as tried and true high performance athletic training. You will work, but you will have fun. In 8 weeks, you will learn the tools necessary to maintain a healthy lifestyle as well as stay motivated throughout the program. Body Kinetix is based on the KIRN training system. This system has been under development for over 10 years. Now it’s ready!!
KIRN stands for kickboxing, interval bodyweight conditioning, resistance training, and nutrition. Some gyms say they have kickboxing, but the coaches have never practiced real kickboxing. We train on a daily basis. Interval conditioning was born out of MMA training, and while some programs advertise MMA conditioning, they have never even trained a day for MMA. Again, that’s what we do every day. MMA athletes work through anaerobic conditions, aerobic conditions, as well as strength, isometric, and power conditions, not to mention flexibility, balance, and speed. The same concepts used for MMA conditioning are used in the Body Kinetix program. While we realize you are not training for an athletic career, we will give you the tools and education to reach your fitness goals, whatever they are. Resistance training is a must. We need to work our muscles in different ways. The resistance training portion will focus on strength and muscle growth. Don’t worry ladies. You won’t get muscle bound, but you will get stronger. The final component of Body Kinetix is nutrition. Proper nutrition is essential for health, fitness, and athletic performance. There are many misconceptions and fraudulent claims about nutrition, and we will help you navigate that maze. We will show you how to eat for weight loss and performance.
In 40 days of training and eating right, you could see some awesome results. The results you get are truly dependent upon how committed you are to this program and your health and fitness. You will be with us for 5 hours a week. The rest of the time you will be on your own. You must learn to become your own coach. When you are alone and temptations arise, that’s when your inner coach must step up to the plate. However, if you follow some basic guidelines and weight loss is your goal, you could reasonably expect to see a 20lb. loss or more! That’s if you have that much to lose. If your goal is not weight loss, you will see some tremendous gains in strength, power, endurance, flexibility, balance, speed, and body composition. How much are you willing to put into it?
Each and everyone who comes to Body Kinetix will be treated with kindness and respect. Whether you are a beginner or a competitive athlete, you will be treated the same in a personal way. Meeting your goals is our business. We take it seriously, but we like to have a few laughs too. We will work with you to get you to your goals. We will do so in a warm and inviting way.
Our maximum class size is 10 people in order to maintain the personal level of training that you should expect from a trainer. Anymore than this number and then people start to feel isolated. Other programs can have 30 – 40 people in class. Not much personal connection happening there.
